Trans Sulawesi: 23 days/22 nights
Day 1
Makassar City Tour
Pick you up at Hasanuddin airport and then
directly visit Rammang-rammang and Fort Rotterdam. Lunch will be served in local
Restaurant and then back to hotel in the lately afternoon.

Day
2 Makassar-Bira
After breakfast, we drive to Bira.
On the way, we will visit Tanah Beru where the Bugis people are building the
Phinisi boats. Lately afternoon arrive in Bira beach.

3 Bira Beach
After breakfast, drive to the
Liukang-Island by boat for snorkeling and sunbathing and then explore two villages on the island by walking. Lunch will be served in
that island. In the afternoon, drive back to Bira beach.

Day
4 Bira-Sengkang
After breakfast, drive to Sengkang
to visit the floating houses of farmers on the Lake Tempe. Lunch will be served
at local restaurant.

5 Sengkang-Toraja
On the way to Toraja, we will visit
silk weaving center of Sengkang and stop in Bambapuang in Enrekang Regency for
lunch.

6 Toraja Tour
After breakfast, we will visit all
of unique sites in the southern Toraja: Lemo the stone grave with
effigies of dead persons (Tau-Tau) on the balcony, Kambira a
special burial site for babies who died before teething, Suaya the
royal family grave and then we will walk in 10-15 minutes to reach Tampang
Allo another royal family grave. After that, drive to Ke’te’
Kesu’ a traditional village where there are some traditional houses, rice
barns and three kinds of coffins by animistic belief, Londa a natural
burial cave with many skulls, bones, “a mummy”, “Romeo and Juliet by Torajan
version” inside. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. Lately afternoon
back to hotel for overnight.

Day 7 Toraja Tour
We have another full day to explore
northern Part of Toraja. We drive to Bolu a livestock
market, Bori’ megalith stones. After that continue our tour
to Tinimbayo to see beautiful view of rice fields. From here, we hike
to Batutumonga through coffee plantation, other local trees and
houses of local people and then lunch at local restaurant in Batutumonga. After
that, drive to Pallawa another traditional village with buffalo’s
horns in front of their houses and rice barns. Lately afternoon we drive back
to hotel.
Day
8 Toraja Trekking
After breakfast, we continue our
trekking into rural life of a few isolated villages through tropical plants,
rice fields, landscape and beautiful valley. Lunchbox en route. Afternoon arrive in Limbong village and stay one night in the traditional
house.

Day 9 Toraja Trekking
After breakfast, we continue our
trekking to other country sides through tropical forest, passing local houses. We will be picked up by the car in Salu and back to Rantepao
for lunch in local restaurant and then back to hotel.

Day 10.
Toraja-Tentena
After
breakfast, we drive to Tentena directly. Along the way, you will see oil palm plantation, huge jungle and activities by local people. In the afternoon
arrive in Tentena, check in Cottage. Lunch will be served on the way.

Day 11.
Tentena
After
breakfast, we will visit Saluopa-Waterfall in the tropical jungle for swimming and then back to cottage.

Day 12.
Tentena-Ampana
On the way to Ampana, we will pass a few villages. Lunch will be served in the small restaurant (calledWarung). Lately
afternoon arrive in Ampana, check in Cottage. Free program.

Day 13.
Ampana-Togian
After
breakfast, we drive to Ampana port to take a speed boat for Wakai port. There, we
will be picked up by another boat to Kadidiri Paradise Resort.

Day 14. Togian
We
take a private boat for snorkeling at California Reef, seeing jellyfish and
visiting Bajo village in Papan Island. Lunchbox will be served around the diving spot. Back to bungalow in the afternoon.

Day 17 and 18 Togian-Gorontalo-Tomohon
Drive to Wakai Port to take a public boat to Gorontalo and then drive to Tomohon. Check in Resort
Day 19. Tomohon Tour-Tangkoko
Visiting Tomohon Traditional Market, ancient stones graves of Minahasa and Mahawu Mountain and drive to Tangkoko. Check in Homestay

Visiting Tangkoko National Park in the morning and in the afternoon at the same day.

After breakfast, drive to Manado
and take a boat to Bunaken. Check in Bungalow
