Cultural Tour and Hiking (5 days/4 nights)

Day 01: Makassar Airport – Toraja

Meet at Sultan Hasanuddin airport in Makassar, we directly leave for Toraja through two ethnic groups in South Sulawesi: Makassar and Bugis. En route, you will see some traditional houses by Bugis people, coastal regions and daily working such as: farming and fishery. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. Coffee or Tea break at Bambapuang while enjoying the beautiful scenery of “erotic mountain”, called Gunung Nona. Lunch en route. Lately afternoon arrive in Toraja, check in Hotel.

Day 02: Cultural Tour
After breakfast, we will visit all of unique sites in the southern part of Toraja: Lemo the stone grave with effigies of dead persons (Tau-Tau) on the balcony, Kambira a special burial site for babies who died before teething, Suaya the royal family grave, Tampang Allo another royal family grave, Ke’te’ Kesu’ a traditional village where there are some traditional houses, rice barns and three kinds of coffins by animistic belief, Londa a natural burial cave with many skulls, bones, “a mummy”, “Romeo and Juliet by Torajan version” inside. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. Lately afternoon back to hotel.

Day 03: Cultural Tour and Hiking

After breakfast, we will visit Bolu livestock market, Pallawa a traditional village, Bori’ megalith stones, Tinimbayo beautiful landscape of rice field terrace. Then hike to Batutumonga for one hour. En route, we will see the coffee plantations, activities by local people and tropical plants. Lunch will be served in local restaurant. Lately afternoon back to hotel.

Day 04: Rafting

Day 05: Toraja-Makassar

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Makassar airport for your next destination. Lunch en route.
